Having a DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY is the first and most important step in DRAWING NEW ADDITIONAL RESOURCES in the process of modernization and development of YOUR COMMUNITY.

To have the finished DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY is a condition and sometimes even requirement of most funding organizations, funds, programs and investment companies which operate in our country.

DETAILS

Development strategy:

  • is a systematic document which describes the model of the community’s future (taking into consideration outside conditions and inner potential);
  • sets priorities and criteria in decision-making by all the subjects within the area of development (investors, local business, government and population) according to the planned perspectives;
  • makes records on activities that ensure completion of goals set by the community, agreements and obligations of both sides in the dialogues concerning the change of sociocultural and spatial environment.

DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY is the mutual agreement and an instrument of the transparent dialogue between government, business and society, all being a part of the development and implementation process.

DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY is solely aimed at strategically important issues of areas (organizations), proposing the needed resolutions.

Programs, projects and measures identified within the strategy (investment, organizing, legal, informational etc.) that have transparent indicators and help monitoring and evaluating the success of implementation and its effect (how exactly it affects the level and quality of living).

IMPORTANT TO NOTE!

The document doesn’t contain any detailed instructions on who, what, how much and whom is the work being done for, doesn’t contain sections concerning industries and fields of economy, and is not entirely comprehensive.
